Ultimamente ho riascoltato Pictured within.

La canzone omonima è una delle composizioni musicali più emoziozionanti che abbia mai ascoltato in vita mia.

È solo chi ha un anima grande, può concepire un pezzo così straordinario.


Del periodo Purple poi, che dire ... grazie a lui ed al suo essere un genio dell"Hammond , ho potuto apprezzare un suo degno erede, il Joey de Francesco di Relentless ad esempio...

The life expectancy of patients with pancreatic cancer is two to three months. Jon has endured for ten months only in the last week the situation has worsened, and he spent most of his time in the hospital under the influence of painkillers. There is a detail that I want to tell ... a couple of hours before he passed away I was there with his wife and daughter. He was asleep under the influence of drugs, and at one point his hands raised, as if he were playing the piano. Wherever he was, Jon at that time he still felt a musician. He was incredible."
